Experiencing raapid decline in a body that has always done what I asked of it (including carrying and birthing a beautfu baby) is absolutely and utterly devastating. There is deep grief, confusion, betrayl, and fear. I have traveled into the depths of my soul and came back with a deep understanding of who I  am,.
 
It's a journey I wish for no one, but  a potent teacher nontheless. 
 
These paintings are a meditation on emotions I went through during my toughest times and the lessons of fluidity. Letting feelings come and go.
 
Finding the joy, and feeling the grief.
