Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas
This piece is part of the collection titled 'Many a Moon'. A study of the fininte and infinite, and shifting perceptions of the relationship between time and the natural world.
'Gaze' is about the small moments in life where time stops and we are fully present. I imagined myself on a summer evening, laying on a sandy beach surrounded by forest. Gazing through ferns to see the bright moon and feels its energy. Listening to the sound of waves and cicadas in the background. A warm breeze passing across my hands and feet.
Varnished and ready to hang.
